Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is person centered and strength based with a foundation based on trust and respect. My professional and personal experience has taught me that people are resilient and insightful when given the chance to be. When we are afforded the dignity of feeling heard and validated, solutions and actions can become clearer. This allows one to identify what they would like to see change and what they are willing to do about it.

In treatment, I approach each person with empathy and curiosity. Through learning about someone’s journey, I’m able to pull from several different evidenced based therapies to guide treatment.
