Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is to come alongside individuals as they seek to grow and challenge themselves to their fullest potential. I strive to equip clients with skills to manage their emotions and situations. I believe in working myself out of a job.  I consider the whole person in the context of their environment, relationships, spirituality, and life experiences.

I believe in developing trust and mutual respect in the therapeutic relationship.  When people feel unconditional positive regard and safety, they develop insight to themselves and their relationships.  This therapeutic process affords them to take steps to grow and live in strength. They can in turn relate to others in love, understanding and respect.
